I have a four branch and a new system on the way for it now aswell, so that should liven things up abit
Also going to get a set of cams for it, and a few other little bits, then start tidying the exterior up abit. |
Keep it subtle
No growing arches on it _________________ Have had V8s all my life and can't grow up- Is that wrong? |

Thats how the engine looks now,
Not a great picture, but its the only one i have taken since last weekend when i removed the engine/box etc and replaced-
Clutch,
Idle control valve,
Coolant temp sensor,
Throttle position sensor,
Throttle body,
Alternator,
Water pump,
Cambelt kit,
A few other little bits and bobs, bit of painting and polishing etc.
Also-
Got a Lexmaul 4 branch manifold, which i heat wrapped and fitted.
A new (and better) de-cat pipe,
Short shifter,
And a stainless intake pipe i made, so the K&N cone filter now sits in the front bumper behind the open foglight hole.
Lots of nice cold air
All this has made quite a difference, and its running 0-60 in about 7.2-7.4, depending how good my launch is
And over 140mph now _________________ The original Monster wide arch-

Well another small update.
Now fitted Dbilas Sportcams, Adjustable fuel pressure regulater, Removed the Superchipped ECU, and done a few more bits under the bonnet.
Also got a enlarged throttle body on the way (engineer friend doing it for £25 rather than paying a Vauxhall tuning company £250 exchange)!!!
Have seen dyno proven results of 7bhp and 11lb ft just from this mod
Hoping to get it dyno'd after xmas, then end of next year strip the motor, use a 2.2 bottom end and supercharge it
Currently the best 0-60mph i have managed is just over 6.5 seconds, but usually i get it in high 6 - low 7 seconds. _________________ The original Monster wide arch-
